Postdoc 2025

I am looking for a motivated researcher to join my research group as a postdoc in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Missouri, USA. Current research topics include but are not limited to topological materials (Weyl semimetals, multi-fold materials, quantum geometry, etc.), novel magnets (altermagnets and p-wave magnets), and interaction effects. Successful candidates will have an opportunity to collaborate with other researchers at the department and the Quantum Science Center.

A Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field as well as experience in theoretical condensed matter physics are required. Candidates with experience overlapping with that of the research group are encouraged to apply. The ability to combine analytical and numerical methods is a plus.

Interested candidates should apply via email: pavlo.sukhachov [at] missouri.edu. Applications should include a cover letter with a brief statement of research interest and accomplishments (1-2 pages), a full CV with a list of publications, a research proposal (up to 3 pages), and the names and contact addresses of at least two references. Screening of applicants will start immediately and continue until the position is filled. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
